About 400 traffic accidents happened in the Greater Toronto Area Sunday due to a mix of ice pellets and snow, CTV Toronto News reported Sunday night.

Environment Canada issued a winter weather travel advisory Sunday morning, warning residents in the area about “hazardous” conditions for motorists across southern and central Ontario province.

It said that flurries with risk of freezing drizzle are expected to end Monday morning.
